Matthew Koes is Of Counsel to Michael A. Foglia and Associates, P.C. and maintains his own law practice in Framingham, MA. He focuses his practice on criminal defense and family law matters.

Prior to opening his own office, Mr. Koes worked for private law firms in and around Boston from 2006 through 2012. Mr. Koes has represented a variety of clients ranging from large corporations to individuals clients in numerous different practice areas including: personal injury, divorce and family law, bankruptcy, general civil litigation and criminal defense. He has appeared in numerous courts throughout Massachusetts including the Supreme Judicial Court, the Massachusetts Appeals Court, the Federal District Court, Superior Courts, District Courts, Probate and Family Courts and various administrative boards. Mr. Koes is a member of several panels for the Committee for Public Counsel Services represents indigent clients in various proceedings.

Mr. Koes earned his B.A. in Business Administration from Stonehill College in 2002. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Southern New England School of Law (now UMass School of Law at Dartmouth) in 2006. While in law school, Mr. Koes participated in a national moot court competition, contributed to the law review and interned at the Massachusetts Appeals Court and Rhode Island Attorney General's office. Mr. Koes received the Adam J. Pauley Memorial Award at graduation for academic excellence.
